The BizInc Council has deliberately kept the Summer Season Open, its the perfect transition point in the program cycle because:

  • its an opportunity for API Student Interns to continue Mentorships if projects are still ongoing,
  • its an opportunity for API Student Interns to explore/pursue other Internship opportunities with EEF501c itself, throughout our network of Charities which as of Fall 2025 hovers around 57, or explore moving into a Fellowship with EEF501c as preparation for running it or starting their own
  • its gives Student Interns a change to explore/pursue Internship Opportunities with other LegUp Programs especially the new ones being formed,
  • its a perfect opportunity for Institutional Partners to become familiar with other LegUp Programs should a desire to participate more broadly is already there.

ED-Lab Online (2002-07) our first charitable endeavor. Now known as SaaS/NaaS ED-Lab was born in early 1998 as a telnet favor to several online classmates with no access to software or tech resources.

Word got out, a few more students and a few instructors joined and this favor eventually morphed into a multi-year pilot project which IRS approved as a first-of-its kind Application Service Provider (ASP).

ED-Lab was a free service ahead of its time, self-funding by private training her clients called “home learners lab.” It struggled to maintain due to resistance against female techs & innovation in the field alongside ascension into decision-leader roles.

It was also made possible due to its Founder home office already having a NOC Lab setup. After moving to rural VA in 2001, she began running the HQ of a local internet service provider where her office the space to house some personal NOC assets including backup servers & software library.

Because of this, she was able to set up a Mirror for load balancing and expand software and secure Telnet User Access as needed — this started Jan 1 9 9 8 — she’d returned to school to complete what would become the first in a host of degrees studies ALL of which were done online.

These advanced research studies have never stopped making this a world lived in. As such designing solutions to eliminate gaps no one knows are there, except for those who find themselves in is instinctive and instant.

Continuing Development falls to our Fellowship Academy Foundation for Business Education (FAFBE), one of several a Trust Foundations established to manage like grouping of charitable endeavors. FAFBE manages our “knowledge enrichment” operations, product/program credentialing for venues that include our Fellowship Academy for Leadership & Business Continuity, ED-Lab Online (the ED-Lab Institutes), subHUB, 501c Law Corner, API-Legal, Therapy Connection Institute (TCI), and Home 4MeToo! initiatives.

ED-Lab Online has been resurrected and is purpose expanded. In addition to ongoing knowledge enrichment, ED-Lab is now retooled from its 1998-2002 pilot operations into a first of its kind continuing development environment that has exploded its original 2002 mission to deliver software access & training to her Peer Classmates — an ignored market of Online Students & Instructors.

That its Multi-Lingual, Multi-Functional, Multi-Dimensional is intentional and reflect its Founders learning history. ED-Lab is its own Research & Product

Development Hub, its own Tech Innovation, Multi-Disciplined ReEngineering Lab, and its own Supply Depot & Service Center Hub. Its also part of a larger system of Historical Resource & Preservation Library-Archives, operating virtually thru ED-Lab Online and thru its physical brick & mortar Institutes.

ED-Lab is an exploded version of its Founders personal assets. Its intent serves a Go-To for unique Intern-Fellowships knowledge enrichment that building and reflects the dynamics of its niche stakeholder community.

The Exempt Business, particularly in startup-mode is still a legally registered business concerns and must focus its foundation in that way first to remain sound. Conflicting authorities notwithstanding, 501c’s form their unique universe which is not a 1-note Non-Profit. ED-Labs been shared by EEF-501cBizInc’s its properly preserved and supported.

So, thanks again for your patience and stay tuned. We’ve completed our relo, locations scouting is underway, and we look forward to relaunching stage by stage as soon as is possible.
