Special Considerations

The BizInc Council has deliberately kept the Summer Season Open, its the perfect transition point in the program cycle because:

its an opportunity for API Student Interns to continue Mentorships if projects are still ongoing,
its an opportunity for API Student Interns to explore/pursue other Internship opportunities with EEF501c itself, throughout our network of Charities which as of Fall 2025 hovers around 57, or explore moving into a Fellowship with EEF501c as preparation for running it or starting their own
its gives Student Interns a change to explore/pursue Internship Opportunities with other LegUp Programs especially the new ones being formed,
its a perfect opportunity for Institutional Partners to become familiar with other LegUp Programs should a desire to participate more broadly is already there.

CHANGES
The Foundation is constantly expanding to include new charitable organizations and programs to eliminate shortfalls and other exclusions our Peer Stakeholders encounter. Many of them will operate in conjunction with our programs and may become part of API body of work portfolio. "A Leg-Up for 501c Startups", is one of those key programs, its an empowerment program which began targeting small tech charities of 5 or less staff, 10 or less if they use temps or other contingent staff. API has since expanded to include other disciplines beyond Technology & IT. This program is what has enabled APIs relaunch sooner than anticipated.

STATUS
Both the LegUp & API Programs are on Hiatus and will relaunch soon as our relocation has completed. Inaugural applications will go to Institutions already on our Pre-Reg Wait List. Thanks to the current political unrest our original site donor withdrew its offer of an unused 2-story home as an interim HQ pending the sale of that and other assets following dissolvement of its primes contract. So while we welcome interim site offers, we continue moving ahead with relocating.
